PCSK9 binds to the LDL receptor in vitro and in vitro. Human PCSK9 D374Y containing a C-terminal His-tag, expressed in HEK 293 cells. Binding capability to EGF-AB domain of LDL receptor was confirmed by using CircuLex PCSK9-LDLR in vitro Binding Assay Kit (CY-8150). The PCSK9 D374Y in culture medium might be used for LDLR degradation assay on HepG2 cell. Unused PCSK9 D374Y in culture medium should be stored at -70°C.
